Neil Fachie and ESV Chairman and sprint coach Matt Rotherham celebrate silver in a cracking final with GB taking 1 and 2. 

Neil and Matt were looking to defend the title they won in Tokyo three years ago. The pair also won gold at the World Championships in Rio de Janeiro earlier this year. Despite the disappointed of missing out on gold, Fachie told BBC Scotland: “Silver… it’s not bad, is it? I need to remind myself it’s still pretty damn good.” Perhaps the understatement of the games!
